Traditional Ceremonies

Traditional Ceremonies

***Meaningful ceremonies don’t just happen on their own. They are organized events that require time and focus, and the guidance of an expert. Our staff at the Curran Funeral Homes will walk you through the necessary steps to create a meaningful, personalized experience.

Funeral Ceremony

A gathering at the funeral home or church, where a clergy or celebrant officiates. This may include personal reflections of friends and family through personal tributes.

Visitation

A public viewing is held at the funeral home or church, and offers the opportunity for relatives, friends, and colleagues to gather, to both honor the deceased, and help the family heal at a time most needed.

Memorial Service

Offers the same experience as the Funeral Ceremony, but without the deceased present.

Graveside Service

Offers the same experience as the Funeral Ceremony, but at the site of the committal. May also be included at the conclusion of a ceremony at the funeral home or church, to provide closure for the family.

Our staff can assist you with personalizing a tribute for your loved one. Unique options such as creative memorial folders, register books, and tribute videos are available options, but it doesn’t stop there. Dove releases, carriage rides to the cemetery, and military honors are just a few examples.
